Non-ongoing (temporary) employment

Aboriginal Hostels Limited engages non-ongoing employees to fill short-term vacancies.

 Examples of the types of roles we fill on a short-tem basis are:

• Researchers                                        
• Personnel/HR specialists
• Administrative Assistants
• Payroll Officers
• Finance Officers
• Project Officers
• Hostel Managers
• Cooks/Domestics
• Night Attendants 

The duration of the temporary vacancy might be anywhere from a few weeks to up to twelve months.

Positions available for a period of longer than 12 months are advertised in APSjobs and a competitive selection process is conducted in the same way as for ongoing vacancies.

To be eligible for engagement in the Australian Public Service all applicants must be Australian Citizens (Public Service Act 1999).
