Aboriginal Hostels Limited (AHL) provides and facilitates safe, culturally appropriate and affordable accommodation for Indigenous Australians who must live away from home to access services and economic opportunity.
AHL’s key vision is to improve Indigenous quality of life through the delivery of accommodation and wrap-around support services that give clients access to education, employment, health and other services. It does this informed by values of:

What We Offer

AHL’s purpose is to provide culturally safe, fit-for-purpose, affordable accommodation for Australian’s First Peoples who need to be away from home to access employment opportunities, health, education and other essential services.
AHL seeks to attract, develop and retain a diverse, enthusiastic and high-performing workforce. To help us in achieving this, we maintain a register of interested applicants for temporary employment opportunities in our hospitality roles across Australia. The temporary employment register enables us to source suitably skilled and experienced individuals on short notice for temporary (non-ongoing) employment opportunities for up to 18 months. AHL offers great employment conditions including attractive remuneration packages, superannuation, salary sacrifice options and an opportunity for training and career advancement. AHL Salary Packaging Program includes a benefit of up to $15,900 per FBT year for mortgage, rent payments or living expenses, allowing staff to further reduce their tax payments, providing more net (take home) pay.
