What We Do

Aboriginal Hostels Limited (AHL) provides and facilitates safe, culturally appropriate and affordable accommodation for Indigenous Australians who must live away from home to access services and economic opportunity.

AHL’s key vision is to improve Indigenous quality of life through the delivery of accommodation and wrap-around support services that give clients access to education, employment, health and other services. It does this informed by values of:

  1. communication (listening to communities and planning with them to achieve quality outcomes for Indigenous Australians)
  2. access (giving Indigenous Australians access to services to enhance their life quality)
  3. responsiveness (seeking to understand and respond to Indigenous individual and community needs)

  5. efficiency (delivering quality accommodation outcomes at an affordable cost)
  6. results (seeking the best results for our clients).

What We Offer

A diverse and inclusive workplace and attractive remuneration packages, including generous employer superannuation contributions, currently at 15.4% and Salary Packaging Program, including up to $15,900 per FBT Year for rent or mortgage payments.

Fulfilling work providing or facilitating accommodation services that are operational 24/7, seven days per week for Indigenous Australians who must live away from home to access services and economic opportunity.
