Our Accommodation Options
Short-term (multipurpose) hostels
AHL has short-term accommodation available in towns and cities for individuals and families waiting for housing, seeking employment or meeting general business and other commitments away from their homes and communities.
Secondary education hostels
Accommodation for secondary students which is close to educational facilities.
This affordable accommodation assists secondary students to attend school and achieve their education goals, including their Year 12 Certificate. Students will enjoy the opportunity to study in a safe, comfortable environment with access to study assistance, sporting facilities and organised outings.
Eligible students can access ABSTUDY to cover the cost of boarding with AHL. For more information, call the ABSTUDY information line on 1800 132 317 (Freecall).

Health and medical hostels
These hostels cater specifically for First Nations people who need to be away from home to access medical treatment, renal dialysis, or antenatal and postnatal care for mothers.
Financial assistance and help with transport through the Patient Assistance Travel Scheme is also available.
