AHL is proud to present its 2024-25 Annual Report (the Report). The Report outlines our performance for the financial year ending 30 June 2025 and highlights our key achievements. This year, AHL exceeded its occupancy target for the fifth consecutive year, reaffirming the important role our hostels play for First Nations people who need to be away from home to access services and economic opportunities.

In 2024–25, AHL continued to deliver culturally safe, affordable accommodation through the operation of 42 hostels across Australia. Over the year, we provided more than 437,842 bed nights and served almost 1.3 million meals to residents. We were proud to welcome First Nations people from just one day old to 98 years young, and to support 137 students to pursue secondary education while staying in our care.

The Report showcases stories about our hostels, our people, and our partnerships. AHL’s contribution as an economic generator for First Nations communities has once again been demonstrated through employment pathways for First Nations staff, support provided to residents, and spending on goods and services from First Nations-owned businesses.
