About the Role
Are you passionate about leveraging data to enhance the employee experience and drive strategic workforce decisions? We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join us at Aboriginal Hostels Limited (AHL) as the Assistant Director, Workforce Planning and Analytics. AHL is expanding our business model with the aim of developing into an emerging leader for best practice HR.

About You
We’re seeking someone with a proven track record in workforce analytics, data management, workforce planning and leadership. You should be a strategic thinker with exceptional problem-solving skills, outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities, and a keen understanding of legislative requirements, industry trends, and best practices in workforce planning and analytics.

Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
•    At least 3 years of Human Resources (HR) experience working in or specialising in Workforce Planning and Workforce Analytics or similar field.
Desirable:
•    Qualifications in Human Resources, or a related field.
•    Experience in workforce planning and workforce reporting within the APS or a comparable organisation.


Identified Position
This position has direct engagement with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples, communities and service providers, or is involved in impacting innovates for AHL. You will require a high level of cultural competency, including:
•    demonstrated understanding of the issues affecting Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples,
•    demonstrated high level ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples, and
•    demonstrated high level capability and commitment to continue to develop cultural competency.


Eligibility
•    Be an Australian Citizen.
•    Undergo a Satisfactory National Criminal History Check (prior to engagement).
•    Meet Fitness for Duty requirements (prior to engagement).
