Melayne is a proud Ngunnawal and Yuin woman, and an experienced Aboriginal leader and senior human resources executive with more than 20 years' experience across the New South Wales public sector.
Prior to joining AHL, Melayne was Director, People Partnerships within People and Culture at the Department of Customer Service, delivering end-to-end human resources services to more than 4,000 staff across seven agencies and 16 sites.
As Chief People Officer, Melayne leads AHL's people, culture and workforce strategy, bringing extensive experience in large-scale transformation and business operations to support AHL's mission of providing culturally safe accommodation for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
